"Control Tower"
 Raised high above the ground, from this vantage point, you can see the entire desert airstrip. Our German Control Tower comes complete with searchlight and machine gun as well as a desk and a field radio inside the hut atop the wooden trestles. A camouflaged corrugated tin roof shields at least some of the hut from the blinding sun. A nazi flag hangs limply on one side of the tower.

The M26 entered service in 1943 and was used extensively and virtually exclusively by US Armoured Forces in the latter part of the war. This same armoured tractor vehicle was also utilized (with a massive trailer attached) as a tank transporter. Our K&C Recovery version is meant to be used on battlefield displays to haul out both German and American war-damaged armour and even heavy artillery and other larger vehicles. Four full-bodied crewmen service the vehicle and it comes with rolling wheels, a weathered paint finish and the legend "You break'em... We take 'em!" painted on the side. Measuring in at 4 1/4" x 11" and weighing a hefty 4.7 lbs this M26 is a "must" for any serious collector of K&C WW2 fighting vehicles and figures. Limited to 1250

One of the leading characters in author Derek Robinson's "Piece of Cake" novel about the Fall of France and the Battle of Britain. "Moggy" is a "nasty piece of work" but a great fighter pilot! "Reilly" is the squadron mascot.

 James "Ginger" Lacey was one of the NCO pilots who made up a quarter of Fighter Command's strength during the Battle. Just 23 years old he destroyed at least 15 German aircraft (probably more) in the summer of 1940 and survived the War.

"General Helmut Von Pannwitz"
This German cavalry officer was the commander of the Cossack Cavalry Corps. Extremely popular with his men he often wore Cossack uniform.
After the war he chose to remain with his men when they were handed over to the Russians. He was executed by the Soviets in 1947.
