PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO CONCERT ON FRIDAY NIGHT DUE TO REMODELING BEING DONE TO THE AMPHITHEATER.

Directions to the San Diego Scottish Highland Games
The City of Vista is located north of Route 78 in San Diego's North County.  From Interstate 5 exit on Route 78 and go east.  From Interstate 15 exit on Route 78 and go west.  Exit on Escondido Avenue and go north.  Turn right on East Vista Way.  Turn right on Vale Terrace Drive, to to 1200 Vale Terrace Drive. From the Escondido Avenue exit to the Games is about two and one-half miles.

Off-Site Parking
There is limited parking at Brengle Terrace Park.  We strongly encourage guests to use the off-site parking at Vista High School and use the free shuttle bus service to and from the Games.  Parking at both locations is $3.00, charged by the city of Vista. Directions to Vista High School: from Escondido Avenue turn left onto South Santa Fe; go about 2 miles ("So. Santa Fe" becomes "No. Santa Fe"); turn right on Bobier.  Vista High School is about ¼-mile on the left.

The 2009 Military History Weekend

October 17, 2009 - October 18, 2009

There will be painting demonstrations, wargames and hands-on re-enactment equipment for the children to try, as well as a wide array of military miniature and toy soldier figures, military equipment, art, etc. for the adults.  There will be a special suite for the spouses and great local shopping within walking distance.  Saturday will be devoted to local military history tours with experienced military history guides and an evening event, then the show will follow on Sunday.

Featuring Antique Britains, Dimestore, Composition & Plastic, Military & Civilian figures and sets. There will be an international gathering of leading manufacturers, dealers, and collectors.

Open room activity through Friday and Saturday. This event is open to the public. Admission is $6 and children under 12 get in for free. $1 off for those with coupons (limit 2 person max).
